Bridgend Family Support

  • The Bridgend family support service empowers carers by providing inclusive assistance, personalized 1-1 support, and facilitating a carers support group. They collaborate with local healthcare professionals and involve carers in decision-making, organizing activities and trips. Referrals are open year-round, and support is available for the carers assessment process if necessary.

Cardiff Integrated Family Support

  • This commissioned service, funded by Cardiff/Vale Local Authority, focuses on enhancing the social and health wellbeing of adult carers whose cared-for individuals are eligible for secondary mental health services. It aims to increase the number of Carers Assessments and reviews, improve carers" social and health wellbeing, promote their involvement in service co-production, develop tailored information for mental health carers, and support Cardiff Local Authority in fulfilling its legal obligations towards carers. The service is located in all 5 Community Mental Health Teams in Cardiff, Barry Hospital, and accepts referrals from the Forensic Team and Neurodevelopmental Team. Additionally, a monthly carers group is held at Chapter Arts in Canton.

Carmarthenshire Carers & Family Support Service

  • The Carmarthenshire Carers and Family Support Services provides one-to-one support, a telephone helpline and group support for carers of people with serious mental illness throughout Carmarthenshire. Services include emotional support, practical advice on carers issues and rights, signposting to other services and information/advice about mental health services.

Monmouthshire Carers
