Adapting to new cultures and languages was a challenge, especially for his family who didn’t speak English when they arrived. It was a tough road to navigate, and Tailan found himself on his own, trying to make a life in a foreign land. Yet, he persevered, stepping out of his comfort zone and immersing himself in this new society.

The transition wasn’t easy. Tailan had to learn everything from scratch, feeling like a child starting over. But what got him through were his family bonds. He reflects on this journey and acknowledges that his family’s unwavering support was his rock. Feeling stronger and more capable, Tailan has gained the confidence to face whatever comes his way. Thanks to his determination and the strength of his family ties, he’s come out the other side a more resilient and self-assured individual.
