Champions House

  • Champions House is a Recovery Delivery Hub in Wrexham, Working alongside other Adferiad service providers and other service providers. Champions House offers a creative, active, and supportive environment for people who have suffered from addiction and/or mental health issues but are now actively stable and seeking to continue to move forward in their recovery. The project provides a mutual aid community where everyone is looking towards a future without addiction and improve mental wellbeing. We run a variety of courses, groups activities and events throughout the week to help build recovery capital. Champions House is also a base for other Adferiad services including CAMFA and PARABL counselling services, CYFLE CYMRU, CANIAD, WOTS WHPP,PRISON LINK IN REACH

Community Outreach Neath And Port Talbot

  • Any person aged 18 and over who requires support with Drugs and/or Alcohol. The support provided encompasses various aspects, including assisting individuals with their substance use, offering guidance to enhance social and domestic skills, providing emotional support, and aiding in accessing local community services like housing, health services, and counseling. Referrals into higher levels of support such as OST prescribing, residential rehab, and coordination with other service providers such as Community Mental Health teams, GPs, probation services, social services, welfare advisors, and legal services are also part of the service. Additionally, support is offered to access training, education, and employment opportunities, promote independence, self-care, and alleviate social isolation. The service may also provide transportation for service users to attend appointments, ensuring inclusivity and ongoing support engagement.

  • The service is designed to support the residents of Merthyr Tydfil County Bourgh Council impacted by poor mental health and / or substance misuse, who are working with the housing department. To address their social care needs through the Recovery Programme, aiming to improve mental wellbeing, circumstances surrounding their social care needs.

Mental Health Engagement Outreach (Neath Port Talbot)

  • The Mental Health Engagement Outreach worker will provide support in the community and work alongside the Substance Misuse Engagement Outreach workers providing an active outreach services. Any person aged 18 and over who is residing in temporary accommodation.

  • UK SMART Recovery (UKSR) is a registered charity promoting choice in recovery through a national network of mutual-aid meetings and online training programmes with comprehensive teaching materials and manuals. Our Programme teaches rational, easy to learn and self-empowering skills to help participants abstain from any addictive behaviour and to develop a lifestyle that supports sustained recovery.

The DAWN Centre

  • The DAWN Centre is a multi-agency building, providing a range of services to our client who have issues around mental health, substance misuse, housing, carers support, employment to name a few. The DAWN centre houses Adferiad Recovery services, which are Caniad, Supporting People, Carers, Cyfle Cymru, CAMFA and Parabl. We also have external services bases here, who are our tenants, which are the Conwy SMS and Dechrau Newydd.

Ty Aman Centre

  • Hafal Ammanford Resource Centre: provides educational, training, employment and leisure opportunities. One-to-one support is provided to help people deal with challenges and move on in their lives. The centre is open 5 days per week. The centre is used to run sessions for service users on self-management, cooking, computers and gardening, we have a large Poly tunnel, and raised beds in the garden. Service users are also supported to go swimming, cycling and walking. Staff and service users are responsible for the upkeep of the garden and grounds.
